Key Responsibilities:

- Sell newspapers, magazines, cards giftware and lottery product to customers

- Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking products

- Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions

- Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about products

- Maintain a clean and organized store or stand



Requirements:

- Excellent customer service skills

- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change

- Organizational skills to manage inventory and keep the store tidy

- Good communication skills to interact with customers and suppliers

- Ability to work early morning hours, as many newsagents open early to accommodate commuters

Newsagents experience not necessary but will be first consideration for this position.
